Dear Brad,
After 25 years of experience with automatic weapons, the superiority of your product(militec-1) as compared to CLP, especially in automatic weapons such as the M-16, etc..... is undisputable and obvious.
I am baffled that this doesn't seem to be obvious to civilian administrators sitting at their comfortable desks in Washington, while somebody else's child does the fighting and dying in Iraq and elsewhere. On second thought, I'm not baffled.
Those guys need to seriously get their heads out of their asses.
CLP sucks. It's too thin, has poor lubricating qualities, attracts dust and dirt like a magnet, evaporates leaving a carbonated goo, and has very poor hot, and cold weather performance. It is also a very poor substitute for a proper solvent.
I am completely convinced the majority of problems associated with our automatic weapons are lubricant related. And these problems are directly associated to improper and inadequate lubrication due to the militaries strange insistence on using an obviously inferior product such as CLP.
