Subject: Thanks sir
LTC XXX,
Sir, I appreciate your support. Currently my unit, 1-14 IN(L), 25th ID(L) is operating out of Tuz, Iraq (South of Kirkuk).
We are placing a order for your MILITEC product through our unit S4. Individuals purchased small bottles on their own before we deployed. From our experiences here, your product is vastly superior to the traditional "CLP" or other lubricants and cleaners.
Prior to crossing the border north into Iraq, we were on a weapons range in Kuwait trying to zero our night optics and lasers. That night there was a big sand storm that rolled over the range. Those using CLP could fire about 5 or 6 rounds before they had to come off the line and clean out their weapons. The process took all night and wasted some valuable training time. The guys using Militec could fire all night without any stoppage. In Iraq, our Infantry Task Force conducts combat operations and IO / CMO operations on a daily basis. We use everything from M9 to .50cal and MK 19. Its important that our Infantrymen have the best weapon conditioner / cleaner because closing with and destroying our enemies (under any condition) is our primary mission.
I use the bottle my S3 bought to clean my weapon. I can clean my entire M4 (to include the exterior) with only one large barrel patch covered in Militec. The same process with CLP usually requires about 10-15 patches. I personally have fired several hundred rounds since I began using Militec with no stoppage.
I just wanted to let you know that troops deployed in support of OIF are using your product with great sucess. Thanks for your kind note to my brother in Califonia.
Respectfully,
CPT Jim XXX
